This policy explains how HerWork (“we”, “us”), operated by Muhammad Saad Zafar from Pakistan, handles information when you visit herwork.online, read our blog, or use the HerWork member app.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details: name, email address and password (passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see them), or your Google account name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Profile details: phone number, city, gender and an optional profile photo.
- Payment details: the withdrawal account you choose (Easypaisa, JazzCash, Raast or bank account) and the screenshot of your registration payment. We do not collect card numbers.
- Your work: articles you write and submit, and any feedback or messages you send us.
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data your browser sends, such as IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit (collected by our hosting and service providers).
- Small pieces of data stored in your browser (local storage) so the app remembers your session, settings and drafts and loads faster.
- Cookies used by advertising partners, described below.
2. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account and verify your registration payment.
- To assign tasks, review submissions, record earnings and process withdrawals.
- To publish approved articles on our blog with the author's first name.
- To contact you about your account, payments or important changes.
- To keep the service safe, prevent fraud and improve the site.
- To show advertising on public pages, which helps keep HerWork running.
3. Cookies and advertising
We use Google AdSense to show ads on our public pages, such as the blog. Google and its partners use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this site and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
- Learn more in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
- Where the law requires it, for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, we ask for your consent before personalised ads are shown.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without advertising cookies, but ads may be less relevant.
4. Third-party services we use
- Google Firebase: sign-in and hosting.
- Supabase: database and file storage for profiles, submissions and payment screenshots.
- Google AdSense: advertising on public pages.
- Google Fonts and jsDelivr: fonts and code libraries delivered from their servers.
Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers above so they can run the site, when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our members and the public. Published articles show the author's first name only.
6. Storage and retention
Your data is stored with the providers listed above, whose servers may be outside Pakistan. We keep account information while your account is active and for as long as needed for payments, records and legal obligations. When an account is deleted, we remove its profile, submissions, earnings and withdrawal records.
7. Your choices and rights
- You can view and update most profile details in the app's Settings page.
- You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it or delete your account by emailing herworkcontact@gmail.com from your registered address.
- You can control cookies and personalised ads as described in section 3.
8. Children
HerWork is not directed at children under 13, and the member app is intended for people aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes and contact
